Our story so far

We are a grant-making foundation which aims to make global giving accessible to all and thereby provides all charities, from grassroots to major NGOs, with access to more sources of donations, large and small, so that they can continue to do vital charitable work for the benefit of society at large.

We fulfil this purpose by offering secure, simple, and efficient charitable giving by corporations, people, and funders to charities in a cost-effective manner, as charities pay no fees. Furthermore, because our funds are unrestricted, we maximise our public benefit by supporting as many charitable organisations as possible.

Our operations began at the end of 2021, shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic, following the numerous lockdowns imposed in the UK between the end of March 2020 and July 2021, during which thousands of charities were unable to fundraise; the nonprofit sector needed financial support quickly.

The Intelligent Foundation is the story of how a group of like-minded individuals turned a need into an opportunity and, with their connections in business, media, and the philanthropic sector, and with some help from some tech firms, the Intelligent Foundation was established.

So far, we have been able to donate close to £1 million, sending about 800 donations to over 200 charities in the UK and elsewhere. And this is only the beginning!
