Frequently Asked Questions
Why did my nonprofit receive funds from Goodstack Impact Foundation ( previously known as Intelligent Foundation)?
A donor or company recommended that we deliver donations to your cause via our partner, Goodstack.
How does Goodstack Impact Foundation process donations?
Donations are disbursed to charities on a monthly basis - as a single aggregated payment - into a charity's bank account.
If the aggregated value of the total donations does not meet the minimum payout amount of £45 (GBP) or $45 (AUD), then funds will be held until they equal the threshold. All pending donations will be disbursed after twelve months, regardless of whether the minimum disbursement amount has been met.
Aggregating payments and setting a minimum threshold reduces the administrative burden for charities when receiving payouts.
The charity must have also enrolled with our partner, Goodstack, and have shared their bank account details for verification. Learn more here.
Does Goodstack Impact Foundation review benefitting charities?
Yes, all benefitting charities have to pass specific eligibility checks, including being registered as a charity with an official regulatory body (e.g. Charity Commission in the UK, or ACNC in Australia) and have passed compliance reviews, such as AML and Sanctions review.
